Deaver, long ago, has developed his cast of characters very well. All of my students need the possibility to contact me, ask questions (preferably those that can't be googled. I can only wait for so long. While some of Nora's books are perhaps a bit faster paced than these, that doesn't mean you aren't in for the usual interesting twists and turns and a unique story line. This small book is a great realisation of the spirit contained within the architecture of Luis Barragan. I moved to Los Alamos from a home I love and did not want to leave (ironically, where the publisher of this book is located). What I love about this book/series is the deep deep deep character development.
